About Creall

Who are we?

Creall is the brand of Havo b.v., a manufacturer of paint and clay from Ermelo, the Netherlands. How did it all start? In 1963, Mr Vos made his first Creall paint in a small shed in his garden. He then visited schools in the area to introduce the paint, and let the kids make beautiful things with it. Thanks to Creall clay, Handelsonderneming Vos grew into a large family business. These days we don’t just make clay, we also make paint, sand and glue that is used everywhere in the world.

Paint the world green!

Children are the future. And in order to make sure that they and planet earth will have a good future, sustainability is a top priority. That is why we are always looking for ways to make our products and production methods more sustainable. A few examples:

The new buckets of our clay and sand products are made of 100% recycled materials.
Our gouache is made of 98% natural materials and 2% non-environmentally taxing auxiliary agents.
Our clay and sand products, paint and glue are made without animal components, so they’re 100% vegan.
We make a lot of our bottles ourselves, avoiding pollution due to transport⁠.
We recycle heat on our machines. We reuse this heat to warm up process water⁠.
On sunny days, a lot of our machines operate on solar power, generated by our 941 solar panels.

Over the coming years, we will take even more steps for a sustainable future: for us, for you, and for your students. Together, we will make the world cleaner and more beautiful.

Creall in the classroom

Since 1963, we have been inspiring you and your students to discover and learn in a playful way with Creall. We do this with inspirational and safe products, crafts and ready-made lesson ideas. So have fun and work together. Stimulate the imagination and creativity of your students, because these tools will open up a whole new world for them, and establish the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
